The average woman puts 515 chemicals in their bodies per day, according to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act. There is no wonder we feel so weighed down all day, and some of us cannot sleep at night. We are surrounded by all these fad’s claiming to detox your body but the reality is that we cannot avoid it without learning on our own.

Some ways we can detox our bodies is with our water intake–personally, I like my Young Living vitality oil and my Isagenix shakes to regulate my daily trips to the bathroom.

Recently, I have been acting upon this issue in my daily life by making my own lip balm because I can regulate what is put into my lip balm and onto my lips which within 26 will end up into my bloodstream. Why I began to make my own lip balm is because I learned how much harm mineral oil will do to our bodies and that is found in a lot of store brand lip balms.

  • Coal Tar
  • Pareben
  • Formaldehyde
  • Pthalates
  • Hydroquinone
  • Lead and Mercury
