In high school I remember there was kid that was always working so she could purchase the new line of clothes all the popular girls had. The moment she bought them however, the popular girls would switch to something else and then complain about how the other girl made those clothes look bad, or some other bitchy and condescending remark. I thought as I got older this mindset would die in our teenage years, but it just seems to evolve into a bigger game of snide remarks, lazy logic, and convoluting mental gymnastics.
“Economist” Paul Krugman is the prime example.
In the wake of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s pardon from President Trump, Krugman went on a typical everyone is a nazi rampage the left has been playing like it’s going out of style and stated to following in his original Alertnet piece:
“There’s a word for political regimes that round up members of minority groups and send them to concentration camps, while rejecting the rule of law,” he wrote in his Monday column. “What Arpaio brought to Maricopa, and what the president of the United States has just endorsed.”
Regardless as to your opinion of Sheriff Joe, who was attacked by Soros and the left for doing his job, Krugman shows his selective disgust.
